Perfect experience. Kamakura is beautiful. Our guide Shinji and our driver were waiting for us at the exit of our cruise ship in Yokohama to show us around Kamakura. We were taken back to Tokyo at the end of the day. Thanks to Shinji we were able to see everything we wanted: bamboo groves, Buddha, temples and shrines, gardens, etc. A big thank you to Shinko for his kindness, his humor, his perfect communication with the guided tour and his excellent support. The guide was helpful but his English was incomprehensible. In fact, I will be claiming a refund from Viator for failure to deliver what I was promised - an English speaking guide. Viator initially stated that this guide received many positive reviews for his English, but I don't believe that response. Neither my wife nor me understood 10% of what he said.
