Do you want to immerse yourself in the culture and spirit of Samurai while you are in Japan? In this 6-hour Tokyo walking tour, you can experience the Samurai Martial arts of "Iaido" in a traditional uniform!
"Iaido" is the martial art of using a Japanese Samurai swordsmanship. You will be able to learn about this on this tour! You will learn Bushido, the Way of the Samurai, as well as sword technique through this experience. After a history lesson, basic demonstration, it is your turn to try swordsmanship alongside your instructor.
Your samurai experience tour also comes with a walking tour. You can visit some sights of your choosing with your guide. Please budget about 2 hours for each sight.

The Asakusa Samurai Sword Experience was very good, the instructor was very polite, friendly and clear with her instructions. I learned about the teachings behind Iaido and a brief history which I found to be very informative.
My guide Hakata Kazuyasu was extremely friendly and made me feel very welcomed throughout the tour and talked to me about the many areas on the itinerary.
Over all the experience was well worth it and I would recommend it to anyone considering coming to Tokyo on holiday.
