Haridwar & Rishikesh are ancient cities and important Hindu pilgrimage sites in North India's Uttarakhand state, where the River Ganges exits the Himalayan foothills. The largest of several sacred ghats (bathing steps) hosts a nightly Ganga Aarti (river-worshiping ceremony) in which tiny flickering lamps are floated off the steps.

This trip exceeded every expectation that I possibly had! The tour guides and host were very knowledgeable and answered every question anyone possibly had. Very attentive and accommodating to my needs. Celebrated a birthday and they went the extra mile to make that very special! I will certainly be back. Dashing Dubai 2024
