Great experience to learn about the in’s and out’s of the French Quarter and New Orleans as a whole. We had a group of all ages and the tour guide accommodated to everyone. The tour was not boring at all! We learned so much and laughed a lot. Definitely worth the price for anyone wanting a private tour instead of a public tour. The company employees were all extremely kind and helpful. Looking forward to attending another tour with them on our next trip.

This VIP tour is not for kids and has nothing to do with its description.
Our guide was a nice and articulate person and could probably be fantastic at giving the Ghost/Voodoo tour. She shouldn’t be the one giving this VIP tour. The tour that we got had nothing to do with its description. Nevertheless, it was probably the worst tour we have ever experienced.
For example, our guide was obsessed with telling the story of Madam LaLaurie while describing how each slave was tortured (in detail) until I asked her to stop. On every occasion possible she talked about death while ending her sentences by saying: “This is cool” or “this is awesome”.
As we passed by a Vampire shop, she told the kids three times: “you should read about vampires on Amazon (google?), it is awesome”. When we asked her: When were the French here? She said: “I’m not sure”.
We left the tour horrified and our kids said that they are never going back to New Orleans because that place is “just evil”.
Our guide was obsessed with stories about death. She didn’t say anything about the rich history of the city, its French and Spanish roots, Creole cultural traditions, and hurricane Katrina. This tour is not for families and not for history buffs. I actually think that this tour is for no one.
