We loved our tour guide, Adrianna. She was so welcoming and made us feel at ease despite the uneasiness of the experience. My main concern was the amount of trash…everywhere. The poor stop at the bottom was overflowing with flies. Then, we went to our destination to switch to the bay trip at a stop of restaurants and the surrounding area was trash everywhere, heading into the ocean, and just not appealing. I recommend a different lunch spot. The luminescent bay was cool but again, the trash was in the water, had an awful smell and the bugs were insane. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t take better care of everything considering how many tourists come through there.

Jason was a brilliant and friendly tour guide. Kept us safe in treacherous conditions with the mud, slippery rocks and the heavy rains. The bio bay tour was during the full moon phase - the kayak operators covered our entire group under a tarp to create perfect darkness and we could experience the brilliant of the bio bay.

Had a great day and would recommend the company.

The hike through the rainforest and swim were fantastic. One thing I would note is that the info provided about this felt a bit vague. You should know that you will be swimming in the shoes and clothes you walk in.
The bioluminescent bay was a let down. There are about 10 kayak rental places who all run their tours at the same time, so you end up with 150ish kayaks trying to navigate a narrow passage. The result is a literal 20 minute plus traffic jam. If you do want to see the bioluminescent lake make sure there is no moon on the night you want to go. If it is a full moon you will see very little.

This was a perfect, adventuresome tour! If you are looking for three hours worth of hiking, this isn’t for you, BUT if you are down to walk for a bit through the jungle to get to a lagoon where you can hike along the tree line to go cliff jumping, rope swinging, and water sliding, this is it! I’m the daredevil of me and my friend and did a 15 foot and 10 foot cliff jump, while my friend was able to sun bathe in the lagoon. Jason and Jay (and Mitchell) were our guides and were very knowledgeable about the rainforest and helpful/physically supportive when we were hiking. The place we stopped for food was an awesome taste of authentic Puerto Rican food. The kayaking at night was an incredible experience with different tour guides, Manolo and Talia, who were helpful in guiding us to Laguna Grande and explaining the science behind what we were seeing. Photos can’t do the bioluminescence justice but also, it’s something that you want to experience every minute of versus trying to take photos. It felt magic like you were surrounded by falling stars. Overall, would definitely recommend!

What an amazing day exploring Puerto Rico in the El Yunque Rainforest and Bio Bay. We hiked and swam with George “ of the Jungle” and Mitchell aka The Puerto Rican Tarzan. Both men took amazing care of our group. After hiking we stopped for a late lunch and ate some incredible authentic Puerto Rican food Mofongo is delicious! After lunch we made our way to Bio Bay to see the bioluminescent plankton. Very cool and fun experience. Menolo and his team were fun and professional. What a great day! Thank you! .

Trip to rain forest:
Tour guide Hector was excellent. Very knowledgeable. However, tour isn’t very much about the rain forest. You basically walk a mile thru mud and rocks to slide down a rock waterslide, and jump off a rock and rope swing into some pools. The pool area had literally 300 people there. Better description would be “Spring break in the rain forest.” If you really want to experience/learn about the rain forest, need a different tour led by Hector.

Sunset Kayak trip to Illuminated waters:

DO NOT BOOK THIS TRIP. COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.
Took over an hour to drive to location. Waiting around and safety instructions took another hour. On the water at 7 pm. Paddle to area. Kayaks hooked together. Pull a tarp over your head to try and see underwater light better. VERY DIM LIGHTS. TOTALLY INIMPRESSIVE.
LOOKED AT THE WATER FOR A MAXIMUM OF 15 MINUTES. Paddle back to shore.
4 hour trip for 15 minute viewing!
Are you kidding me!!!!!!

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Bespoke- shoutout to tour guide George, lifeguard Mitchell and bus driver Luis!! The tour is exactly what was advertised, and communication with the company was speedy and helpful. Even when our rainforest tour portion was cancelled due to weather, we were still able to do the kayaking tour and rescheduled the rainforest portion to the next day. If you love a small challenge and enjoy doing outdoor activity, this is perfect especially to experience the beauty of Puerto Rico's natural wonders.

This trip was fun but it definitely had its shortcomings. When we first met our guide he tried to talk us out of going because he said we were too old. I ride my bike 10-20 miles per day and walk 2-4 miles per day so to say the least I WAS NOT THE ONE THEY WERE WAITING ON. It was a moderate hike but I’ve definitely done harder. There was a lot of rock climbing and I think they should have been made clear when you booked the tour. I grew up on a farm in the mountains so my group was used to the terrain and the mud but many people would struggle with that. If you don’t like to get dirty this is not the tour for you. Overall we had a great time though, I would have preferred a longer hike and a little more challenging but for the general public I’m sure it was fine.
We went to a great lunch at the kiosks but they told us to meet our bus for the second portion at 4:30 amd the bus didn’t show up until 5:30pm. I didn’t mind waiting to leave until 5:30 but he never apologized and they could have just given us three hours there instead of 2.
The bioluminescent bay was very cool but I thought the guides could be pretty rude and arrogant. There was a ton of people who didn’t know how to kayak on our tour so coming back in the pitch black was a little sketchy. Overall I would still recommend the tour but be prepared to be flexible and wear old clothes that can get dirty, bring changes of clothes and shoes for each activity.
