Full-Day Culebra and Flamenco Beach Snorkel Tour from San Juan

We viewed a lot of trips and read a lot of reviews before deciding on this one. We definitely made the right decision. They picked us up from our hotel, the boat was so nice, the food was good and they had the rum flowing all day!! You get more than your money's worth with this trip, honestly it should cost more! The snorkeling was awesome! And the beaches were beautiful. The crew was over the top amazing! The only thing to be prepared for is it is a very long day. If I had to find one negative it would be they could of had 4 less people on the boat. It was a little crowded for us. Other than that it was awesome!

Me and my husband took this trip from San Juan.. and it was perfect from beginning to end! They picked us up from our hotel, in a really nice comfortable and cooling little bus and drove us all the way to the pier. And from there the process was fairly easy, checking in, they give you your snorkeling gear, and give you all the instructions before you go out on sea. We got on the boat with a big group of people and you go on an about 1.5 HR ride towards Culebra.. but it was magical and so worth it. We stopped at one little beach, to go snorkeling.. we had lunch there which was great too, as they prepared it for us while we were snorkeling.. and they offer you drinks all throughout the time you’re on the boat till the end! (Alcohol served after snorkeling) Then we went on about a 20 min boat ride to the famous Flamenco Beach.. and wow! That beach is phenomenal and best beach I’ve ever been too.. we spent 2 hours there, and it was the best 2 hours in my opinion. You can do whatever you'd like while you’re at that beach.. the staff on that boat was so friendly and very aware of us. They definitely made it a fun experience for us.. and the captain (don't remember his name) but he was very sweet and funny and he made me laugh every time he would direct himself towards the group because he always started off by saying “Okay Boys and Girls” and it was so funny because I felt like a little kid in a classroom with my teacher, haha. We even had a floating bar on the ocean serving drinks. Once we were done at that beach it was time to head back, and they offered us fruits and drinks.. and then gave us all these sweet puertorican cookies. It was just an amazing experience.. and I felt like the day was soooo long and so worth every minute. Loved this experience! 🤎

We got picked up in condado at 6:10am and the process was so easy. We boarded the boat and went to flamenco beach and another site for snorkeling. Truly an amazing experience and my favorite part about our week in PR. It was so beautiful and staff was so nice. Got some margaritas at the end too!

This was amazing & one of the best experiences ever of a lifetime definitely worth every penny I would easily do this again they picked us up from our hotel very communicative food drinks amazing experience all around the crew was incredibly helpful & very amazing. Book this tour you will not regret it this is by far one of the best things I ever did in my life.

This was a fantastic tour! We were picked up in the hotel lobby and then taken to the boat. The drive was 1.5-2 hours. Then we boarded the boat and set off to Culbera which was another 1-1.5 hour ride. The captain did a great job of minimizing the bumps on the ride even in rough seas. We were the first boat to reach flamenco beach and the crew was amazing! They have a water proof bag for your belongings that they bring to shore on a paddle board while you swim. You have plenty of time to walk the beach and swim here. Then you get back on the boat for lunch. After lunch you take about a 20 min ride to a reef where you go snorkeling! The snorkeling is some of the best that I have seen in the world! The colors of the coral were beautiful and there were so many different types of fish. When you get back on the boat, they have snacks and drinks for you to enjoy on your trip back to land. I can't say enough about how great this tour was. I highly recommend it!

Attentive crew and clean boat. Beautiful beach, pretty good snorkeling, and clear warm water to swim in. Lunch was good too and the crew ensured our safety, Nice snorkeling equipment too. Easy pick up and drop off near our hotel. Overall a great day!

Booked this tour very last minute and I am so glad I did. It was worth every penny, we got picked up from our hotel, driven to the boat dock, then we had a boat ride to Culebra where we snorkeled in playa tamarindo then went to enjoy the beach in flamenco. With pick up and drop off included I highly recommend this tour!

Culebra was a beautiful island to walk and snorkel around! The staff was great and very attentive to your every need. Captian Benny and Crew were phenomenal! I highly recommend this tour!

Fun crew! Great experience at Culebra. Guided snorkeling with care for reef. Got to visit Vieques as well as they tried to dodge the weather.

What an amazing day and what a great value for such an adventure. We were picked up at our hotel in San Juan and driven to the boat, with a stop at the shop to sign waivers, give our meal preference, and use the restroom. The boat was well maintained with a great crew. After about an hours ride we got to Flamenco Beach for the first stop. You do swim ashore (we were aware of that when we booked), but they accommodate you with a group dry bag (or bring your own). The swim to the beach is easy (seriously, I am an obese woman with a torn tendon in my arm and it was a piece of cake) and they have ocean noodles, floatation belts, and other flotation aids if you aren't a confident swimmer. You can snorkel at this stop, hang on the beach, paddle board, procure a beach side massage (if the massage people happen to be at the beach) and/or hike down the beach to take some great photos with the abandoned tank. We had enough time at this stop to both snorkel and walk down to the tank.

Then to stop two. We went to a different stop than originally planned, but this was awesome as the snorkeling was better where we went, it was fabulous. We saw stingrays and turtles and lots of amazing colorful fish. We happen to always bring our own gear, but the gear they provide is better than what I have seen with a lot of these tours.

Lunch was simple, but great and exactly what you expect for this kind of excursion. This boat doesn't have a kitchen or ways to keep food hot (normal for the kind of boat), so wraps with fruit and chips, soda, water.... They also served snacks later. At the end they served beers and Margaritas. Then we were transported back to our hotel.

This was an amazing adventure and an amazing value. If you want to see as much on as possible in the way of beaches and snorkeling, as well as a little of the military history that flavors the Puerto Rico experience, while still having a relaxing excursion, this isn't just an amazing experience, but also one of the best values I have ever encountered in these kinds of excursions.

I did read the reviews before I booked and after going feel those reviewers had unrealistic expectations, have never done these kinds of excursions before, or got hit with the bad luck of bad weather or things that the tour operator can't really control.

For a 10 hour excursion with transportation to and from, lunch, drinks, and two snorkeling opportunities, plus some chose your own adventure options (beach, paddle board, massage, abandoned tank), you would be crazy to not just book this!
