Hey Ashley W- we just returned and almost missed the email with the pictures too.
We booked through Royal Caribbean if that is the same tour you took. The email was titled “Wetransfer” and was from framemn55@ Gmail.com, so it was not obvious. I deleted it at first, but then went back to look when nothing else came. Doublecheck your trash or junk folders.
Also, we were able to bring our phones as long as they were in a waterproof case hung around our necks so we could be hands-free to swim
Anyway, the tour was great. We had a lot of fun. Also very interesting learning about the Mayan history.

The cave swim was amazing and very memorable but the pictures that their "photographer" took of our family were never sent to me after I paid him for them. $40 down the drain but even worse I will never have the pictures that I paid for!

Terrible expirience. We haven’t been told that they will not allow us to bring our cellphones down but only their “official” photographer will take a picture which should later be payed to take with you as memory. The whole tour circles around 300m2 of cave and stopping every 2m to tell some boring story about the river and fishes and blabla… The whole tour could be done in 15 minutes instead of 2 hours. Of course after the “excursion” everyone was asking for aditional tip and whole concept of it was just to take the money out of your pocket. Avoid at all costs!

Reached out the to operator several times for meeting time and location. They didn't respond, finally Viator was able to reach them. We met them, got on the Ferry to Playa del Carmen and when we exited the ferry the operator informed us the road to the caves was closed and our excursion was cancelled. Gave us our ferry ticket back to Cozumel and was done. We were told we would be issued a refund, that did not come. When I contacted Viator they refused to honor the refund as well. HORRIBLE experience!! Caves may be wonderful, but I will never know.

The excursion was canceled by them the day of the event. We were so disappointed. And it was too late to book another excursion. Makes me leary about not booking through Carnival.

Amazing Experience. The cave is Huge & Spectacular! The Rooms just keep going and getting to swim from room to room was something i won’t forget. Ruben was a very well informed Guide that took great pride in explaining the history and geology of cave but also gave me time to explore my own as well. Santiago was a very friendly driver as well. Also got to enjoy a bit of Playa del Carmen and music on ferries. The only down sides were the communication leading up to the day of trip and the distance from Cozumel Cruise Port. Would have preferred a ticket that could be added to Apple wallet like other aviator trips instead of waiting for an email notification days before departure. Trip was from Cruise Port: 10 minute taxi, 45 minute ferry to Playa del Carmen, & 45 minute drive almost all the way to Tulum. Lots of travel for Cozumel cruise stop. Thank you again. Thank you for not canceling trip when i was the only ticket holder! Would recommend!

We were most excited about this tour on our trip to Cozumel. Unfortunately, all automated communications offered conflicting information, and most concerningly, did not offer a departure time. Neither I nor Viator could get in contact with the tour operator. To avoid losing out on $300+, we were forced to cancel the tour. Pro-tip: you can find nearly identical tours on other websites for much cheaper - save yourself the money and headache and don't book here.

This tour is a MUST DO tour!!! Cost and benefit is 100%!!! The guide and all the staff are gentle and very devoted to attend the needs of everyone! Is different from the usual tours! I eill bring my daughters to do this tour in july!!!

I booked this tour through Royal Caribbean if this is the same tour. Was amazing. We walked through the first cave with hard hats, water shoes and flashlights (provided). and the second cave we had life vests (provided) and swam through with a guide the whole time. Then on the way back we got a bagged lunch (2 empanadas and juice). Some review complained about the lunch but I think it added to the experience and was great. Whole experience was amazing. Water is cold but you get used to it. There are some steep stairs in the second cave if anyone has an issue with stairs. Would recommend highly. I've done many cavern tours but nothing like this. We loved it. Neither of us are great physical shape and managed fine ( I would only discourage those that can't do stairs).
