A few things would have made it better
As it was raining, we should have been let into the boat a little sooner, or.tjere should have been a canapy or.something covering us in the line so we wouldn't have gottwn soaked.

Unfortunately the weather was not cooperative, but that was not under your control.

Fabulous trip. Best way to see pulpit rock. Very comfy boat with the option of sitting inside or out on deck. Large windows make it easy for viewing. Drinks and snacks available on board if required. Would definitely recommend this trip. Easy booking experience with Viator. Have used this company a few times in different destinations. Excellent trips.

Our family of seven recently went on the Stavanger: Waterfalls, Caves and Rock Tour By Sea and had a fantastic experience. The tour started with a short walk from the ship, which was convenient. Although the meeting point was somewhat unclear at first, I was able to find it easily with the help of the staff.

The inside seating area of the boat was quite crowded, with lots of people. However, there was still enough space to move around comfortably. The only downside was that it was a bit chilly on the top deck, but the stunning views made up for it.

The tour was very informative, providing interesting facts and historical information about the sights we visited. The recording was in a few different languages, making it an enjoyable experience for everyone.

One of the highlights of the tour was the fantastic views of Vagabond's Cave. The guide provided a detailed explanation of its significance and it was truly a sight to behold. Unfortunately, due to cloudy weather, our view of Pulpit Rock was limited. However, this was not the fault of the tour operator and didn't detract from the overall experience.

The Lysefjord itself was absolutely gorgeous. The boat allowed us to take in the breathtaking scenery and admire the natural beauty of the area. The tour was not strenuous and lasted for about 3.5 hours, making it a convenient and enjoyable option for those visiting Stavanger.

Considering the experience, the Stavanger: Waterfalls, Caves and Rock Tour By Sea offered good value for the money paid. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the stunning landscapes of Stavanger and Lysefjord in a convenient and informative way.

While the scenery was beautiful and the boat was smooth sailing, the windows out of which we were to see the scenery were dirty and this trip was a big disappointment from a value perspective. $134 pp was a major overcharge! Literally no live comments (all prerecorded, and not even very extensive at that!) and no food, which I didn’t need but thought might be included for that price. I think the boat may have had 3-4 staff total, including the captain, and there were at least 50 of us on board, so it was clearly very profitable to the company. I was seriously discouraged that we didn’t even have an opportunity to disembark and go for a short hike.

The experience was pleasant and plenty of room to move around. The boat had no record of our booking.

Between this and a RIB tour I would definitely advice taking the RIB. This one is more of a tourist trap experience. The ship was crowded with cruise ship tourists and the cabin was uncomfortably hot.
