We had a rough start to the trip. We needed to stop at a restroom in Playa Del Carmen on the way to Coba. When we got back in the car the driver and our tour guide told us the van was not working properly. We had to wait about 50 minutes for a new van to arrive. However our tour guide Emilio was so helpful and courteous. He was tolerant of all four of our kids questions (there were many). The rest of trip was amazing. Emilio was an amazing tour guide and we soon found out he is one of best in the area and has been a tour guide for over 30 years. He was full of local knowledge and he spoke the native Mayan language. He was able to tell us about the insides of most the temples and point out culturally important carvings and history at each location. The best part is that all the entry fees and logistics were handled by Emilio. This made each location a seem less experience. As a family of 6 we would highly recommend this tour but especially Emilio.

What an amazing tour! Tacho was a wonderful guide, very passionate and knowledgeable about Mayan history and culture. A private tour is absolutely the way to go! I would recommend this tour to any of my friends or family headed to the Cancun area. Thank you Tacho!

We decided to splurge on a private tour and are so glad we did! Our tour guide, Benjamin and our driver Adrian were so amazing! From the moment we were picked up outside our hotel, they were very nice! They provided a van, clean and the AC was running and we were able to control the temperature. Water bottles kept in a cooler whenever we needed one. Benjamin told us sooo much information about the maya culture and the roads, highways and vegetation in the area, it was great. Adrian was always kind, he opened the doors and he was a great driver. Benjamin even stopped to let us get some mangos and chili on the way to one of the ruins! They were very accommodating and kind. The tour was so awesome and we will always pick a private tour over the tour bus with 40+ people. Being able to talk to Benjamin and ask him any questions was great. This tour with Benjamin and Adrian was nothing short of amazing. We will be coming back for another tour with the two of them! Thank you!

Saul was amazing!!! This was such a great way to see these ruins. We were driven in a private comfy new SUV, just my husband, me, our guide, and the driver. Everything was at our own pace. No mega groups, or whistle-blowing-umbrella-waving tour guides and huge buses to contend with. We learned so much and Saul was a walking encyclopedia. This is a FULL DAY experience...but every minute was wonderful. A few tips - take advantage of the cycle cabs at Coba - hire one. You will save a ton of time instead of walking from site to site and you will be a lot less sweaty. My husband and I are super active and thought, oh, lets walk it...but, we opted for the cab, and did not regret it. Do hike to the top of Coba. Just take your time coming down. And do jump in the cenote. And, explore ALL of Chichen Itza - there is SO much to see there, in addition to the main plaza area if you take the cab at Coba you will have more time to do this. ...It was just an amazing day!.

A brillant way of seeing both Mayan Temples. Coba is amazing and we loved that you can still climb this. Cenote was great way of spending a couple of hours.

Our guide, Tony, was great with lots of really useful information and knew his history well.

A great trip all in all.

Alvaro was fantastic ... knowledgeable, personable, flexible, punctual. While a private tour is expensive, this was the only way to experience Chichen Itza, Coba and a Cenote. There is thousands of years which surround the Mayans, Aztecs and Mexican culture. We could not have learned so much about these interesting civilizations without a historian like Alvaro. So exceeded our expectations. We arrived early before the crowds and the heat of day at Chichen Itza, cooled off in the Cenote, had a very lovely buffet and by the time we were at Coba, the breeze was up and made touring enjoyable.
