Only us and the tour guide so it was very close and personal.
A little disconcerting when guide left us for the undergound. We weren't sure what was going on and after waiting a while we had to ask what was happening.
Really enjoyed the undergound tour to see water in the cisterns and squeeze sideways through the narrow tunnel sections.

Guide walked faster than we could keep up or at least wanted to keep up between the crowd and wanting to take pictures. There were four couples including us and we were the slowest. By the time we caught up at a stop we had missed most of the guides talk. I had a hard time hearing the guide over the crowd noise outside or when he was talking softly in a church. Last we did not realize the underground portion had some narrow spaces. My wife read on another description of the underground. She asked the guide if it was claustrophobic. He said yes, so she did not want to go in. We left the tour at that point. I was surprised that the stops for coffee and pastry was at our own cost. Not a big deal just surprised. Could have done with a slower pace skipping the coffee and pastry and getting time to take pictures.

Even though it was just the two of us, the hike was completed, which we thought was great. Very nice and knowledgeable guide who took us around on this rainy January day.
The underground visit was so-so. Cool that there is but not much to see and hard to hear what the guide said. We would have rather seen something from the "underground city".

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! An excellent way to get to know Napoli and all it has to offer. From the handmade street markets to the underground tunnels, this fascinating and fast paced tour gave us a great introduction to the city sights, sounds and its history. Both guides were outstanding, and their commentary was not only information but entertaining as well. If you only book one tour in Naples, make it this one!

Tickets to Underground Naples tour were supposed to be included. But when we tried to enter we were forced to buy tickets. Our guide for the walking tour left us.
