Had a great private day trip with our driver Miguel . First stop was to tequila factory to sample their various brands 1 was really nice but a bit expensive for us brits $269 a bottle . From there we crossed the island to the Atlantic coast where we visited several coastal bars ,our favourite being the Reggae Bar . We had the best mojito we had ever tasted at the coco bar it took the guy 10 minutes to make it and cost $10 ( ha much) we are from Yorkshire. On our return to the ship Miguel took us to a locals bar where the gave us lots of free nibbles and the beers were as cheap as chips . Would really recommend this excursion ,and our driver Miguel .

Tour Guide showed up in a 2 door Ford Mustang that my wife was too tall to even get into. We declined going! In addition thier start times do not coordinate with the ferry times, so we stood out in the heat for almost an hour. 2 of the three phone numbers we had for the local guide and Tour Operator did not work, no one ever answered the third and the Tour Operator was slow to answer the Viator messaging system. The guide that did show up was not the one that we were advised would be our guide.
To be fair The Tour Operator has said we will receive a full refund, apologized and offered 30% off if we were to re-book.
This was a relaxing trip for my birthday as we both work alot! This was the one outside our resort excursion we planned and it cost us $60 USD round trip for the ferry in addition to the $150 USD for the bar hop. VERY disappointing!!!!
