On this tour, you will get to experience Venice in a glass with 6 different regional wines at 6 different bars or restaurants paired with savory regional food from famous bars, restaurants. If you would like to learn how to wine and eat like a local here in Venice this tour is for you.
* This wine-focused tour with food pairings offer regional wines from red, white, sparkly and desert wines depending on the time of the year and what seasonal dishes we are pairing it with on that day.

• Public transportation options are available nearby
• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes prior to the departure time ( ideally 15 minutes ). If you have any food allergies, please advise us in advanced and we will try our best to accommodate it. In case we can not accommodate your food allergies, we will try to come up with a solutions that work for both. If you inform us on the same day of your food allergies instead of at the time of booking, we are very sorry but it would be very challenging to change the route at the time the tour has to start. We appreciate your cooperation!
• Due to unexpectedly high demand, tour can have up to 20 people and when the tour exceed 15 people, more food and wine would be offered as a complimentary
• On Saturday and Sunday from May to October, and on dates that are holidays, the time of the tour is 5:30 pm unless otherwise stated
• Children joining the tour would be given more food as we cant serve alcohol to children
• No refund or rescheduling will be accepted once the tour has departed and the customer fails to show up on time to locate the tour
• If there is a particular regional wine you would like to try, please send us a message 24 hours before the tour. We will try our best to accommodate it, and if not, you could get a full refund if the request comes through 24 hours before the tour
• We usually have 6 stops on the tour, however, depending on the days of the tour, there could be 5 stops, however, the food and wines amount is the same as 6 stops.
• The tour lasts minimum 2 hours, however, it could go up to 3 hours because the guide will cater the time due to the group dynamic.
• On certain dates, most travelers staying outside of Venice who are planning to visit for the day will be required to pay a €5 access fee. For further details (including exemptions) and to learn what days this fee is applicable, please visit: https://cda.ve.it

Sara was great - Sassy and Knowledgeable are great descriptors! Thank you Sara for being awesome. Excellent stops that allowed us to taste authentic LOCAL dishes. No touristy trap BS. Plenty to eat and drink. This tour is fun and curated by a small company that deserves more business, so make it happen and you will not be sorry!

Elena was a fantastic guide, the best! Making the tour entertaining with her naturally bubbly personality, local knowledge of where to eat and drink in Venice to avoid tourist traps and overpricing as well as sustainable tourism to maximise experiencing the local cuisine, wine and authentic locations. This was one of the best food tours I've ever done. Sara.theGuide takes you to all the hidden gems, with all the best dishes. From dessert before dinner, to the strawberry wine, to learning how to eat pasta properly, it was spectacular. She treats you like her friends, and provides you with all the little secrets of Venice. This was a highlight of our trip and made us fall in love with Venice even more.
