Carlos was amazing! Very knowledgeable and most of all, relatable. He was a step ahead of us and the experience was just short of perfect ( nothing is perfect😉). The drive felt like around the corner because we were always engaged by thoughtful conversation and interesting facts about the region. Highly recommended

Absolutely terrific tour. Picked up at hotel. Great driver. The tour guide in Cordova was amazing. She knew everything and was very thorough. She took her time and even had an iPad ready with more info on the mosque. Amazing

Carlos was the best! After a wonderful stop in Cordoba to visit the mosque and catheral(s), Carlos made an unscripted stop in Carmona which was a beautiful location. We requested one other activity while we were in town and he was more than happy in delaying our departure by 1/2 hour. He was a very polite, knowledgeable, and a very safe driver (which is not always the case).

Spain is a beautiful country, and my family had wonderful experiences throughout our trip. There is still one day that stands out amongst all the others, a day that just felt extraordinary. It was our day trip from Sevilla to Cordoba with Carlos. We lucked out as my family-two seniors, myself and my 12 year old-were the only ones on this tour.

The day started with an on time pick up at our hotel. There was a lovely stop in the quaint town/village of Carmona-I don’t want to give away too much, but it was a pleasant surprise. We then headed to Cordoba. Carlos was mindful of my family’s needs and wants including keeping the walking at a leisure pace for my parents as he guided us around and knowing where my son would find the best churros. The best churros on our trip were in Cordoba at Mojaelchurro!

Included on this tour, NotJustATourist reserved a private guide for us at the Mesquita Catedral. It is definitely awe-inspiring and has to be seen, preferably with a guide.

Cordoba has it all: history, culture, food and nice little family shops. Cordoba was our favorite place, and Carlos had a lot to do with that.

Guide was knowledgeable and had a pleasant personality. If anything, the day trip made me want to spend additional days in the lovely city of Cordoba. The company also arranged excellent drivers for transfers from Granada to Tarifa and from Tarifa to Ronda.

It was an incredible experience and our guide Carlos gave us great customer experience. His knowledge of Spain and Cordoba was outstanding, he took the time to show us the City and the most relevant places in Cordoba, he told us a lot of stories of places, times and events from the past, awesome trip. Carlos took us to a bonus place Carmona, what a great small town with views from the top of the Parador Hotel. Carlos was just the best tour guide we have ever met. Small group to visit Cordoba and other places in Spain is absolutelly recommended and ask for Carlos to give you the tour

We had an amazing day trip to Cordoba. Our guide Carlos was so kind and thoughtful. He showed us places we probably would not have found on our own. He organised a restaurant for us. He introduced us to our guide to visit the mosque.

All together a really memorable and wonderful day.

We have used Not Just a Tourist before and will definitely use their services again. Great communication too.

Thank you

Cordoba is stunningly beautiful, and Angel was an absolutely splendid guide for both our neighborhood walk and for our visit to the Mezquita. We were VERY glad we had paid a bit more to work with him and the Not Just a Tourist group. I would do this all over again in a heartbeat.

Carlos who was our driver and guide for our Cordoba- Carmona day was an outstanding guide, well informed and conversational with interesting insights and analogies about the visit sites and their history. He even made the effort to bring us into the Parador hotel at Carmona, which I am not sure is part of the regular tour, for a look around and the commanding view of the surrounding countryside.

But what impressed my wife and me even more was his kindness and adaptability. Carlos made the unexpected but touching gesture of buying small souvenirs for our 2 teenage daughters who stayed back in Seville and missed this tour as they were not well, He was also accommodating and adaptable for changes in schedule as my wife was not feeling too great that day either.

We also had a Flamenco and Tapas walking tour in Seville. Having the lovely and exuberant Kati, who is a Flamenco dancer herself, as our guide made the evening special. Besides the visual and aural experience of the dance itself, her passion for the subject shined through and really helped my family appreciate the art form and culture so much better.

Slight negative was that the food at the actual Flamenco venue was mediocre at best. The food at the stops before and after were better, and anyway the performance is the main highlight of the evening.
