It was a very complete excursion visiting the Tablate bridge, Lanjarón, Capileira, Pampaneira, El Chorreón and the Agria fountain.
Three of us traveled in a taxi with a driver-guide, named Manuel, who was very friendly and explained everything to us very well.

The scenery was stunning and the villages fascinating. Our guide, Miguel, was hugely informative about the history and architecture of the area, as well as going out of his way to make sure we appreciated the full magnificence of the area.

It was an wonderful experience to visit villages in the Sierra Nevada mountain. It seems that they have an unique culture different from the southern part of Spain.

Ramon was a fabulous guide, very personable and with excellent local and history knowledge. We were a little concerned that as the small group ended up as just the two of us that it would be a little intense, but Ramon was great company throughout. A big thank you also to the company for not cancelling the tour due to lack of numbers, really appreciated.
Ramon knew the owners of the artisan shops and restaurants' that we visited during the trip ensuring we had the greatest experience. We also were taken to some photo opportunity points where the views over the mountains and valleys were stunning.
The villages are wonderful, very remote, a step back in time and an excellent counterpoint to the city of Granada.
Thanks Ramon, you were a star.
