Do you want to explore one of the most famous volcanoes in the world? In this activity we will follow one of the most beautiful routes that can be done in this natural park.
The walk will allow us to ascend from 1800 to 1970 meters. During the tour we will cross pine forests, see ancient solidified lava flows and enjoy unparalleled views of the Sicilian coast and the Ionian Sea.
As we walk, we will explain how Etna and its caves were formed, and once we have reached the top of the trail, we will admire the Bove valley, an extensive depression more than 8 kilometers long located on the eastern side of Etna.
After admiring the incredible panoramic views that Etna offers, we will begin the descent path. We will walk along the Back of the Donkey, enjoying the landscape of the Bove Valley from another perspective. In addition, we will pass near a large black sand channel and see a volcanic cave.
