The Moldemarka, as the popular hiking and skiing area of the Moldenser is called, offers numerous outdoor activities at any time of year. The Varden is an absolute MUST DO while visiting Molde. Varden Molde Panorama Hike Tour

After a 15-minute drive, we'll arrive at the starting point of our three-hour, beautiful hike along the local Varden mountain. Starting from the parking lot, a mostly flat forest path will lead us uphill for about 20 minutes to the ski hut, marking the highest point of our tour. From there, enjoy a breathtaking view of the fjord landscape and the surrounding mountain peaks. It will take approximately 1 hour to reach the Varden Viewpoint. The trail, uneven and adorned with stones and roots, presents no significant elevation gain but meanders along a high plateau.
